Prada Infusion D’iris Eau De Toilette Review: Gentle Talcum

Prada Milano Infusion Perfume Reviews

Not to be confused with the EdP from 2007 and with different notes, the EdT version of Prada Perfume Infusion d’Iris was created in 2010 by Daniela Andrier.

In the opening, which lasts for about 30 minutes, the signature floral note is wrapped in a slightly powdery and sweet layer. Nothing too old nor cloying here, it’s actually clean and gentle and reminds of baby talcum rather than ultra-feminine stuff.

It almost flirts with unisex in this first part, but then the floral notes will come out of their sweet talcum shell, becoming definitely feminine. If you’re trying this Prada parfum for the first time and you’re not too crazy about the soft and slightly sweet opening, just wait half an hour before you dismiss it.

And at that point Prada Iris fragrance will be denser, although, like all gentle personalities, it won’t shout loud. There won’t be much variation for the most of the heart notes, and in the base it will become slightly powdery again, with a light musk coming out, and even traces of fresh notes.

Prada d’Iris Perfume EdT is a classy, gentle, reassuring perfume, for the office or any other quiet occasion it couldn’t be more appropriate.
