Miss Dior Cherie Review: Good Girls Still Exist

Miss Dior Perfume

Dior Cherie Perfume for women

The opening of Christian Dior Miss Dior Cherie is very gentle and bright, with floral and citrus notes, which are sour enough to be pineapple. There is also a very subtle sweetness at the start, which becomes more evident after 30-45 minutes. It’s slightly chocolaty, although quite soft and mixed with the florals (the bouquet is rose, violet and jasmine). It’s not sugar-sweet, not honey, maybe (just maybe) fruity. So it must be caramel…

What really enters the nose in this Dior perfume however, are the florals, with the feeling that the perfumer Christine Nagel (Delices by Cartier) did her tricks to keep their potential intensity at bay so that they can get along well with the sweet notes. The citrus sometimes pops up again, or maybe it comes from the florals. When the fragrance reaches cruising speed, you already know it will hardly change. It will stay strong for a couple of more hours, then it will warmly fade, still sweet and floral, but with a warm amber.

Miss Dior Cherie Eau De Parfum is a good girl from a good family, who was taught to keep her personality at bay. And she wont mind at all, you would trust her even without knowing her. Like all things of good taste,  it has its pros and cons, depending on how you see them: it’s reliable, or boring, it’s classy, or just like many others out there.
