Escape cologne for men by Calvin Klein opens citrus, fruity and herbal, but with a quality that makes it different from the other fresh aromatic out there, thanks to a nice dose of floral notes. I say this in an act of bravery, as among the about fifty users reviews down at Fragrantica there was only one single reference to florals.
The thing is (more display of bravery coming ), not only florals are there in a soft, clean, not feminine way, and a light fruity sweetness on top. More importantly, they are the main contributors to the perfumes’s best feature: a great balance. Why I feel them so strongly, and if I’m right or not is actually secondary to the fact that Escape is more than delicate, it’s relaxing. Indeed, more that relaxing it’s zen, stunning in its simplicity, with strokes of a spicy warmth that wrap and hold flowers, fruits and aromatic herbs together until the woody base.
CK Escape perfume men is almost ethereal and completely wasted for the winter. Anything less than a clean shirt and a smiling face won’t do it justice.
