Paco Rabanne Black XS For Her Review: Inexcessive

Parfum Black XS For Women

Black XS For Her is spicy and sweet like the one for men, but with a very different personality: where the masculine has a warm and almost intrusive spiciness, this one has a subdued peppery side.   At the start, sweetness is mainly fruity – the opening has a light bubble-gum flavour – and then it gradually switches to vanilla. It has a cloying potential, but the gourmand frequencies are cut down by pepper. This stage  is not distinctly feminine, […] Read more »

Paco Rabanne XS Black For Men

This is the younger version of a classic by Paco Rabanne like XS, created by Oliver Cresp, the same guy who made Angel and Nina.   In case it’s not clear from the title, I will agree with the majority: this Black XS Paco Rabanne perfume is a super-masculine fragrance and that’s why we (and by “we” I mean us would-be half-metrosexual) like it when we want to smell a bit rough but still sophisticated.   Let’s skip the elusive […] Read more »

Paco Rabanne Pour Homme

This Paco Rabanne perfume was the first one for men by Paco Rabane in 1973 (created by Jean Martel) and although it smells classic and old, it still deserves a place in the market.   It’s straightforward since the very opening, and will smell of shaving foam without being a shaving foam. Perfume Lady Million by Paco Rabanne

After a not so enthusiastic experience with the masculine version of One Million, I didn’t have many expectations about this Lady Million by Paco Rabanne, but I have to say it smells pretty darn good.   It was created in 2010 by no less than three perfumers: Anne Filipo (Fleur Narcisse by Chloe, Acqua di Gioia, L’Homme by YSL), Béatrice Piquet (Bvlgari Rose Essentielle, various for David and Victoria Beckham) and Dominque Ropion (Amor Amor by Cacharel. Euphoria by Calvin […] Read more »

212 Vip Men Carolina Herrera For Men

Best-selling, award winning with no less than three perfumers behind it (Christophe Raynaud, Olivier Pescheux and Michel Girard): One Million parfum is very well structured: in the opening there are citrus notes, with soft spices and the feeling of masculine cleanness in the background. As it evolves, it becomes a well-shaped tangle of sweet and spicy notes, with apparitions of red orange.   And that will be the perfume’s cruise mode for many a hour. Paco Rabanne’s One Million’s character […] Read more »
